Custom Branding Irons from Hand-Drawn Sketches and Illustrations

Can a custom branding iron accurately replicate a detailed hand-drawn sketch?

We often receive this question, so today, we’ll showcase the results of using a custom branding iron created from a finely detailed illustration.

We transformed a hand-drawn sketch of a staff member’s portrait into a custom branding iron. Even intricate details, such as hair strands, have been precisely replicated.

Here’s the original sketch, drawn in pencil. Since hand-drawn designs often include delicate lines and unfilled black areas, we convert them into production-ready data before manufacturing the branding iron.

Branding on wood

This is the result of branding wood using the custom branding iron made from the sketch. The wood used is Hinoki (Japanese cypress), which takes branding marks well. As the heated iron is pressed onto the surface, the fragrant scent of burning wood rises.

Versatile and Easy to Use

Our branding irons are designed with a detachable handle, allowing you to switch between different iron designs using just one handle.

When swapping branding irons, be cautious as they become extremely hot. A quick way to cool down a hot iron is to place it on a metal surface, which absorbs heat and speeds up the cooling process.

Customize Various Materials

Besides wood, you can apply branding to materials like leather gloves, notebook covers, and more. With a little creativity, you can craft unique, personalized items effortlessly.
