Why stainless steel for food branding?
Our food-use branding irons are made from 304 stainless steel (SUS304). With an engraving depth of about 0.12 in, they transfer cleanly even onto soft, thicker foods.
The deeper relief helps keep the background from touching the surface when you press.
Stainless steel is highly rust-resistant and very durable. While its thermal conductivity is lower than brass, once heated it holds temperature well—great for consecutive impressions.
When you’re branding in view of customers, stainless is a reassuring choice.

Food-grade stainless steel withstands temperatures over 1,832 °F(≈1,000 °C).
Whether you heat with a torch or charcoal outdoors—or simply need to reach working temperature quickly—our stainless irons are up to the task. Faster heating improves efficiency, so you can brand smoothly even at volume.
Choose from two handle styles for open-flame use:
Straight tip
L-shaped tip — recommended for food, as it lets you apply light, controlled pressure.

Pricing is flat-rate by the size of your design (height × width).
Once you know the dimensions, you know the price—no extra fees for fine detail or thin lines. Price is determined purely by size.
Design File Guidelines
We accept a variety of file types: AI (Illustrator), images, photos, PDF, and more.No design file? We can create production-ready artwork from a hand-drawn sketch.
After you submit your artwork, we’ll fine-tune it for production. Once you approve the final proof, we’ll begin manufacturing your original branding iron.
Lead time: approximately 14–18 business days from the start of production.
