Custom Brass Branding Iron
Brass custom branding irons suitable for marking wood, leather, paper, and more. Brass is easy to machine, which also helps shorten lead times.
Our brass branding irons have an engraving depth of about 0.12", allowing you to brand even soft, thicker materials. The deep engraving also reduces the chance that the base surface will touch the material when pressing into the surface (de-bossing).
In addition, the engraved edges are sharp, so even fine details can be branded cleanly and true to the design. Beyond hot branding, you can also use them for foil stamping or embossing by changing the equipment.

Custom Stainless Steel Branding Iron
Custom 304 stainless steel branding irons are food-safe (SUS304), making them ideal for branding food products.
Like our brass models, the stainless steel irons have an engraving depth of about 0.12", which is suitable for branding softer foods.
Stainless steel also has a higher heat resistance, so you can heat it on commercial high-output stoves, over charcoal, or with a torch. It resists rust and is more durable than brass, though it is slightly more expensive.

While we can produce even complex, intricate designs, we recommend keeping the artwork as simple and easy to recognize as possible, since fine details melt away quickly on ice.

Almost any design is possible. Because branding involves heat, some materials may scorch or ‘bleed.’ If a design is unlikely to brand cleanly, we’ll suggest small adjustments to help you achieve a crisp mark.
We can create the production data for a branding iron from a hand-drawn illustration at no additional cost.
