We needed a deeply engraved, even-heating branding iron to mark octagonal-profile walking sticks.
Ninoike Mountain Lodge
About the Work
We operate a mountain hut at 2,905 meters (9,531 ft) on Mt. Fuji, offering overnight stays and daytime meals.
Did you buy right away?

Not immediately—we wanted to compare pricing with another company first.
How do you use it?

We brand hikers’ hinoki (Japanese cypress) walking sticks as proof of ascent. For guests without wooden sticks, we brand a small wooden board and sell it as a keepsake “branded tag.”
After Using It

We’d used branding irons before, but when our previous maker retired, we looked for a new supplier. We’re very satisfied—this iron captures finer design details than before.
Message to Anyone Considering It
The precision is excellent, faithfully reproducing even delicate lines. It heats evenly and holds temperature well, so stamping is easy. If you’re considering a branding iron, we highly recommend it.
