Engrave the inside of rings with a purpose‑built stamp that matches the ring’s curvature. We machine SKD11 tool‑steel stamps for crisp, repeatable marks—even on stainless steel—ready for hand striking or use in a press.

Tip: For hand strikes on hard alloys (e.g., stainless), smaller linework gives deeper, cleaner impressions.

Standard ring stamp area: up to 0.20 × 0.39 in — flat pricing within this window.

Designs smaller than the maximum are welcome; extremely tiny marks depend on artwork—send us your file for a quick check.

Larger areas or special bodies (deep relief, extra‑thick, custom shanks) are quoted individually.

Design tips: Use thin, well‑defined lines; avoid large solid fills. For stainless/hard alloys, a sharp‑face (V‑profile) engraving transfers energy best.

How to Use (Hand‑Strike on Rings)

Support the ring on a rigid, non‑resilient base (steel block or stone). Avoid wood or soft surfaces.

Hold the stamp vertical, aligned to the desired position on the ring’s curve.

Deliver a single, confident blow with a flat‑faced hammer. If needed, apply a controlled second blow without shifting the stamp.

For larger designs or very hard parts, consider a press. Always wear eye and hand protection.
