Custom Metal Stamps for Logos & Marking (SKD11 Steel)
Hand‑strike or press‑mounted. Built to your design.
Bring your logo, initials, or symbols to metal with a made‑to‑order stamp engineered for clean, repeatable impressions on stainless steel and other hard alloys. We produce durable SKD11 stamps for hand hammering or for attachment to a press. Ideal for makers, jewelers, fabricators, and OEMs running tougher jobs or longer production.
SKD11 tool steel: High wear resistance and edge retention—recommended for stainless (e.g., 304/316) and other hard materials, and for longer production runs.
Your artwork, your size: Flat pricing up to 1.0 × 1.0 in for standard hand stamps. Larger sizes or special fixtures are quoted individually.
Hand or press: Built for hand striking or customized for your press with the shank or mounting you need.
Built to grip: Optional knurled sides for a secure hold while striking.
What it can mark
Metals: stainless steel (304/316), mild steel, silver, brass, copper, aluminum.
Also compatible with: vegetable‑tanned leather, wood.
Tip: For stainless and other hard alloys, a sharp‑face (V‑profile) engraving and a smaller detailed mark area (around 0.4 × 0.4 in) yield the crispest impressions—especially when hand‑struck. For larger marks or very hard parts, a press is recommended.
Sizes & Pricing
Standard hand stamp: Any design that fits within 1.0 × 1.0 in — flat rate.
Over 1.0 in or special geometry (deep relief, extra‑thick body, custom shanks): Quote on request.
Material
SKD11 tool steel: Optimized for stainless and hard alloys; longer service life in production.
Need a cylindrical body, a narrowed/“tapered” face, or a curved profile? We’ll build the stamp body to match your process.
Design tips
Use clean, thin lines and avoid large filled areas. For stainless/hard materials, sharp‑face engraving transfers energy deeper and more evenly than broad flats.
How to Use (Hand‑Strike)
Place the workpiece on a rigid, non‑resilient base (steel plate or stone slab). Avoid wood or soft surfaces.
Hold the stamp vertical and steady. If knurled, grip along the knurled sides.
For stainless/hard alloys, use a heavier, flat‑faced hammer and a confident single blow; if needed, make a controlled second blow without shifting the stamp. Consider a press for larger designs or harder parts.
Always wear eye and hand protection.
For press use, we’ll supply the body geometry or shank to fit your fixture. Tell us your press type and mounting dimensions.
